One day, shortly before the baby was due, I was having tomato ketchup and rice for breakfast when Florence bust in again! I nearly jumped out of my seat, but she instead headed straight for Amar, completely ignoring me. Like me, he was so startled by her sudden appearance that I think he temporarily forgot I was in the room as well, allowing me (and probably the baby and half the town given the volume) to overhear. I gathered from the heated exchange between them that there'd been a bit of history between them and that Florence was particularly hurt and upset by it.
But there was no time for me to think this over, as, less than a week later, I was rushed to hospital. After what seemed like hours of excruciating pain, I finally gave birth my first child - a boy! However, he was two and a half weeks early and had to be kept in for a little while before I could take him home. Thankfully it wasn't too long before the doctors decided I could take Fionn home!
I hadn't forgotten about the argument between Amar and Florence though, so I decided to confront him and get to the bottom of it. He said that he'd met Florence years ago and that they went out on a few dates together, but that was as far as it had gone in his view – but obviously this wasn't the way Florence had seen it.
Although I was relieved that Amar had confirmed Florence as a lonely old prune cooped up with her flowers that I though she was, a few niggling doubts still lingered on in the back of my mind, like if it was 'years ago', why had Florence dug the whole affair up again? However, I mustn’t let myself get hung up on them – I should be concentrating on making sure that Fionn gets the best possible chance in life. Now where is the number for the local school again?
Now, I've never thought of myself as superstitious - I don't have time for all that mumbo-jumbo - but the house was burgled again, just a couple of weeks after the incident with Florence. I really do hope it isn't a bad omen – I mean the police did manage to catch the scum this time after all!

But one thing's for sure, even if I do still have my doubts about Amar's past - he's being a great dad to Fionn, a lot better than I'd've expected him to have been anyway!

Now that Amar was going to move in with me, it was time to get my act together and build a house for us to live in. Amar helped financially and so we built this little house together. It's great to finally have a roof over my head, and, more importantly something to show the neighbours I'm moving up in the world, with my recent promotion to Company Executive.
Things were going great for me – I was steadily climbing up the rungs of the corporate ladder, had a great (rich) bloke and a lovely new house. Then things got even better, as one night Amar took me to a local hedge maze. I knew something was up and wondered what he was planning. Then, when we got to the centre of the maze, Amar got down on one knee and, producing a ring, proposed to me!
After I'd overcome my initial surprise, I looked at the beautiful, big, shining ring Amar had given me and what do you think I said? I said 'Yes!' of course!
The next couple of months pasted by in a mad rush of white dresses, flowers, cake and invitations. So, when our big day finally arrived I was so excited! I'd never been one of those girls who'd dreamt about having a big white wedding since she could walk, but I think I can honestly say it was the best, most perfect day of my life!
After the ceremony was over and I was officially married we moved on to the reception and our first dance. It was a beautifully warm autumnal night with the stars shinning down on us as we took to the dance floor, but I only had eyes for my new husband!
I settled into married life feeling the happiest I'd ever been – I was enjoying everything – work, Amar, just being Mrs. Andersen! However, one weekend when I was alone in the house, I heard a noise that sounded like the door being opened. I was going to investigate it when Florence Delarosa burst into the bathroom where I was and started hurling abuse at me. She claimed that I was a fool for marrying Amar and that I would soon regret it! Shocked and angry, I told her to get out of mine and Amar's house and to take her vicious lies with her!
Florence has occasionally rung up demanding to talk to Amar before, but this was the first time that she'd physically attacked me. Well, it must have had more affect on me than I'd thought at the time, as what she'd said played on my mind, giving me sleepless nights and even making me feel weak and queasy in the mornings, no matter how much I try and put her out of my thoughts.
Recently, the sick feeling I've been having in the mornings has got worse and I've even vomited a few times. It's getting so bad that I'm really staring to worry about myself more than about Florence's lies.

Unfortunately, I currently have a slight liquidity problem, as the bank refused to lend me any money to actually build a house! So this sorry collection of essentials and a wall is all I can afford at the moment.
However, I had more luck with job hunting and managed to get a position at a local company as a Mailroom Technician!
Then I had even more luck, as I’d only been there for a few weeks when I spotted an opportunity to get myself noticed. As I was categorising recently received corporate correspondences, I saw a letter lying on the floor that must’ve fallen out its envelope. It said that Landgraab Enterprises was preparing to buy Wrightway Toys! Realising the potential of this information I showed the letter to my boss who informed the CEO, allowing us to undercut Landgraab, making the company a small fortune and earning me a promotion to Executive Assistant for my initiative!
To celebrate my good fortune, I decided to treat myself to a night out, where I meet this guy, Amar Andersen. We got talking and it turned out that he shared my view that money is there to be enjoyed; however I think he may be just a little bit vain!
One weekend, while I was relaxing at the park I bumped into Alec Todd. He seems really friendly, outgoing and fun to be around.
A few weeks later, I was out at a club in town, celebrating getting another promotion, this time to Field Sales Representative and decided to have a go on the dance sphere as I’d had a few and wanted to let my hair down. Looking back I must’ve looked ridiculous as I was really bad, but it was fun at the time!
While I was in the club, after I’d recovered from my go on the dance sphere, I saw another guy, Vince Hurt, across the dance floor. He was out to have a good time and came across to me as a really nice, well rounded guy.
What with being at work during the week and out most evenings and weekends, I was having a great time, however, a few days after I’d been promoted my luck ran out – I was burgled! I called the police immediately but unfortunately my lack of a front door means that my home security is basically non-existent, and, by the time Officer Centowski arrived, the criminal was getting away, having taken many of my few possessions, including gifts given to me by Vince and Alex.
